- Bunker hill was a battle outside of Boston. The British hired Hessians to fight with them. the colonists had to leave because they ran out of ammo.The British won the battle,and the significance of the battle was that the colonist proved it would be a hard and long war.

- The battle of new york was in new york city. The British won the battle. Which gave the British new york state. It was also a long battle.

- The battle of Trenton was fought on the day after Christmas. It was the Patriot's first win! The Hessians quickly surrendered. The patriots captured about 920 British soldiers without a single casualty.

- The battle of valley forge wasn't really a battle because two groups of people weren't fighting . It was the colonists vs the cold winter they barely had any clothes or supplies and ended up eating the leather of their shoes. But the colonists overcame the winter and started to get trained by Baron von Steuben.
- The battle of Yorktown was fought in Yorktown Virginia. When the Patriots and the french surrounded the British leading to the British surrendering. The Patriots won this battle which is also the last battle of the revolutionary war . The significance of this battle is that a new country was created.
