- My mirror is Christmas. On Christmas my family puts up a tree with ornaments on it. When it is around Christmas time we start putting presents around the tree that we give to each other. This is how I see myself in what I read: I see myself because the article says you spend time with family and friends on Christmas and we do that. Also, I can see myself in what it said because it said presents are given to each other and we give presents to each other.
- Hanukkah is my Window. I learned that Hanukkah is a Jewish festival of lights. I learned that Hanukkah celebrates the day that the Israelites reclaimed Jerusalem and rededicated the temple. This lets me know that different people celebrate different holidays.
- My door is Kwanzaa. My door experience is Kwanzaa because I never knew about Kwanzaa and it was a great experience to learn about. One thing I learned about Kwanzaa was that is is an African American holiday. Now I will honor Kwanzaa and the people who celebrate it.
