- There are rumors being spread around that the refugee camp is about to close down because of the government collapsing. A few days after the rumors the soldiers come and told people to leave to camp.
- why do they have to be firing their guns than just kicking us out.
- The people living in the refegee where forced out by soldiers to leave to camp which lead then to the river. But the problem about the river was that it was filled with crocodiles, which lead to many people dying when crossing towards the other side.
- why me, why do I have to survive?
- After Salva makes it past the river he decides to walk South to Kenya to go to a new refugee. While walks groups of boys start following him and he becomes a leader of over 1500 boys. Since he was the leader of the group Salva would give the boys jobs to do to keep the group it tracks, for the older kids to help the younger ones when they were tired, and give motivating encouragement to them but sometimes he would have to talk to them sternly to them.
- If we continue to work together and to do our part it will take us less time to get to kenya and less to to reach our dreams of going to a refugee camp that we can stay at instead of walking for hours at a time
