- The French and Indian war, was a war where the French and Indians teamed up to fight the Colonists and England for territory in the Americas.
- The Shot Heard Around The World
- After the French and Indian war, Britain started harshly taxing the Colonists to pay off their war debt. With no representative in Britain the Colonists were forced into these condition.
- The Second Continental Congress
- We should be free
- A group of men met to discuss the conditions of the colonies, leading to George Washington being placed in command of the Continental Army.

- After Paul Revere's warning of the British preparing to attack the Colonist, the Colonists were ready for the kick start of the Revolutionary War.
- The second Continental Congress met in Philadelphia, they came together to discuss the next move for the colonists. They declared independence from Britain and The Declaration of Independence was written.

- The battle for American was treacherous, the colonist gained an alliance with France. With their new found alliance they were ready to face the British in Yorktown, the Battle of Yorktown was the final major battle of the American Revolution ending in a Treaty signed by American, British, and French diplomats acknowledging the independence of the United States.
