Super-Schooler

During his eighth grade year Charlie had a big decision to make.

He has attended a private school his whole life but now he must choose on his own where to go for his four years of highschool.

Charlie is torn between two schools because a few of his best friends are going to the private high school and a few are going to the public high school. Each school offers different benefits.

Xavier, the private school, offered smaller class sizes as well as updated technology.

On the other hand, Palm Desert Highschool had fantastic sport programs and tons of new people to meet.

At palm desert I could play soccer and get to experience large classrooms with lots of new people.

Xavier costs much more, but may have better academics and I know a lot more people at the school.

After talking with his parents and his friends Charlie decided to go to Palm Desert High School.

I'll have to adapt to going to a public school now but I'm excited because it is so diverse.

If you are shy you should go to the private school, since the class sizes are smaller and offer a more friendly teacher-student relationship.

You will do great, and you get to participate in great sport programs.

Charlie's freshman year was great, he met tons of new friends and joined clubs and sport teams. He was confident and able succeed in the large environment of a public highschool.
