- Napoleon Bonaparte was born in Ajaccio, Frnace. He rose to power during the French Revolution by rising through military ranks.
- The French Invasion
- He seized political power in France in 1799. Napoleon then crowned himself emperor in 1804.
- Exiled and Returning
- He then started a war against coalitions of European nations to expand his empire.
- Final Exile
- After the French Invasion of Russia in 1812, he took the throne.
- Two years later, Napoleon was exiled to the island of Elba. But in 1815, he shortly returned to power in his 100 Days Campaign.
- I'm back!
- After being defeated in the battle of Waterloo, he was exiled again to the island of Saint Helena. He does there at age 51.
