- Most miners traveled from Sonora canal Chile and word got out and people from china and Asia started coming down they were called the forty niners. The Americans were mad because the Chinese were better at mining the Chinese were good labor worker they made them start paying to live in the camps

- Miners often saw native Americans as impediments to their mining activies. A conflict was that when they found gold they would fight and even kill for it. They were injured and since the Chinese were better at mining they taxed them only

- The gold rush signifaclly influenced the history of the United States it basically impacted the history it effected all of the United States it affected the population it went up to 60,000 which made this new state called California. The Chinese were a big part because since they were paying taxes it got to expensive that they decided to leave the camps and start their own life they made shops,restaurants,etc
