- A group of sailors led by Prince Albert has just arrived and has caught the attention of a group of villagers who are in love with Alberto. And a group of villagers who defend Romo who is in love with Margarita without her realizing it.
- No, it was Romo
- You didn't write me the letter, did you?
- The concerned Prince comments to Corporal Stock that it hurts him to see what is happening, and that he intends to encourage love between the villagers, so he decides to help Romo declare himself. They try to serenade him, but in the end they fail, so he decides to help him write a letter. Romo delivers the letter to Margarita, who upon reading it believes it to be from the prince, provoking Romo's anger.

- The sailors appear and when they discover it, they decide to attack Margarita, leaving the Prince to defend her.

- Margarita discovers that the prince did not write the letter to her, but that the letter was written by Romo
- Corporal Stock tries to comfort Romo. To this appears the Prince, who promises to speak in his favor to Margarita. In the end she appears and they are alone, Margarita declares her love for him, the Prince tries to make her see Romo's affection but in the end he cannot help being honest with her and declare the love he feels.
- Prince Albert decides to leave quietly with the crew. He says his farewell to Margarita, because he feels remorse for everything that has happened. Margarita tries to follow him, but Romo blocks her path and makes her see that it was nothing more than a dream, and that it would only bring her misfortunes to continue clinging to him. In the end they are all plunged into the deepest disappointment.
