- Thanks for meeting with me today I have a couple of questions according to my sciences homework. For starters what factors affect of the size of populations within the ecosystem? Lastly What are common threats to remaining natural ecosystems and biodiversity? How can these threats be reduced?

- The two main factors that affect the population growth are birth rate and death rate. People coming to a area is called immigration which also affects the population and lastly emigration is when the people leave area which also tends to affect ht population
- Well there are four factors that affects the population in a ecosystem, they are birthrate , death rate, emigration and immigration.
- Here are a couple ways to reduce threats in biodiversity. Supporting local farms will keep buisnesses running in then local economy. Saving bees. Planting vegetables or plants. Taking short showers. these all can help perserve biodiversity
- Now to answer your last question. The common threats to remaining natural ecosystems and biodiversity are invasive alien species, climate change, nutrient loading, pollution, habitat change, and overexploitation.
