  • I'm Squeaky and this is my brother Raymond. My mom said I have take care of him while everyone else have their thigs to do.
  • Conflict
  • I am going to the race and I am going to win I am the best and I always win.
  • You going to the race, you are for sure not going to win though. 
  • Rising Action
  • Inhale and Exhale
  • "Ugh here comes Gretchen and her sidekicks."
  • Omg! Raymond is such a good runner, he could be really good at running, he does do everything that I do when I practice my running
  • Squeaky is a young girl committed to her running and lives in New York City. She has to take care of her older brother Raymond, who has a disability.
  • Climax
  • "Raymond's Run" is man vs. man conflict and it is between Squeaky vs. Gretchen to see who is going to win the race and who is better.
  • Falling Action 
  • The winner is Hazel (Squeaky) and second is Gretchen.
  • YES! I won take that Gretchen but Raymond is a good runner, I think I would want to coach him.
  • Squeaky trains hard for her race and comes across Gretchen and her sidekicks.
  • Resolution
  • Did Gretchen just simile at me but it is different it is a real simile. Just out of respect we smiled at each other like a real simile.
  • Squeaky realizes that Raymond is a good runner and she sees a new light for her brother and also Squeaky also does not really care that she win the race or not because she has her brother.
  • Squeaky wins the race and she is also planning to coach her brother to be a runner.
  • Squeaky and Gretchen finally “real smiling” at each other and has respect for one other. The lesson that this story was trying to portray is to be true to who you are and what other people are as well.
