There were more than 1000 men that went in search I was the 1st European to Discover 3 very popular landmarks in 1540 called, The Grand Canyon, The Palo Duro Canyon, and the Pacific Ocean. but we never found the seven cities of gold

- Hello I am La Salle a french explorer from France. in 1685 I arrived in Texas matagorda bay (TX coast) in a ship called "The Belle". I built fort St.Louis . I ended up getting killed by my own men. But as a result of me and my men coming to Texas the Spanish became interested in Texas again. So they built missions in Easy Texas to try and reclaim Texas.
