Each product is implemented as silo, there are no technology standards and a common platform for reusable functions!!
Product, feature, function, framework, platform!! I don’t get it. Can we please use consistent language?
Why are same features being implemented by multiple teams? There are duplicates everywhere. We must find a way to identify and eliminate such duplicates.
Where do we stand on technology maturity scale? What should be our tech big bets that would serve Intuit business vision?
I hate to see these complex technical terms in roadmap. Just tell me its business impact and how will it add to revenue long terms goals?
Our last acquisition was a failure, looks like it was not required at all. We could have enhanced our current offering XYZ to add these functions with much less investment!! Only if there was some way to view existing functions with roadmaps…

It’s that time of the year again.. I dread it.. the planning. It is so painful to determine roadmaps!! It can not be my wishlist, I need to show concrete measures backing these priorities.
Why did my roadmap not get approved while product XYZ's did? How do I show impact of these features? These features are not just important for my BU but for other BUs as well.
Tech debts never get prioritised as they do not directly add to business revenue but we know we need to fix it!! How do I influence roadmap to include tech upgrades, modernisation initiatives? How to show value of tech initiatives towards our strategy?
Why is effort to implement events framework so high? I bet others would have done it but looks like implementation is not standardised and not searchable!!
Wow.. another all nighter because one bug fix broke other feature!! We really need test automation suite but there is never budget for such things :( Roadmap has just business priorities. We suffer at the end..
Looks like we always under estimate and end up working overnights/weekend!! Managers always think that this is a common problem and must be already solved but where is the solution?? I can’t find it.
I want to use a graph DB but there are so many available in the market.. evaluation itself is a new story. I wonder if any vendor and solution is standardised!!
