Me Sir! Matter is anything that takes up space and have mass
Sir the 3 main states of matter are solid, liquid & gas
Solidsparticles are packed tightly together, so they don't move muchparticles will vibrate but cannot move past each othersolids have a high density.particles have low kinetic energysolids have definite shape, mass & volume
very good students. please look at the board, as we will be covering a lot today
Liquidsparticles are more loosely packed than a solid & able to flow around giving the liquid an indefinite shapeliquids conform to the shape of its containerliquids have a lower density than solids and hard to compress
Gas particles have space between them and have high kinetic energygas have no definite shape or volumeif unconfined particles will spread out indefinitely
Melting- is the process of changing solid into liquidFreezing- is the process of changing liquid into solidEvaporation- is the process of changing a liquid to gasCondensation- is the process of changing a gas into liquidSublimation- is the process of changing a solid to gasDeposition- is the process of changing gas to solid
can anyone state what that is?
The last thing we will be looking at today is the change of state process
and also sublimation & deposition
such as freezing, melting, evaporation and condensation
Sir, that is when matter change from one physical form to another

Thank you students for your participation today. Read up some more on matter and we will continue next week
