- as Bazola waits for Harriet to sing her song to let her know it is time to go she sits by the house fire and prays she comes soon and they leave swiftly 
- Dear God, please save me from this world where i am enslaved. I pray that the journey is smooth and that i do not get caught.
- as the clock struck 12 Harriet came to collect slaves who wanted to be free
- if you are ready to be free come with me !!!

- come with me as quiet as can be. if you get lost follow the north star to freedom .
- if you eat these fruits it will take you to freedom. eat the fruit then go to sleep
