- Michelle was a bright young girl with big dreams. She always dreamed of running her own company when she was older, but from a young age many people shared their thoughts on the matter with her, especially a student boy named Joe
- I want to run my own company when I'm older!
- But you're a girl!! You can't have a job! Or be Successful!
- That's not very nice of you to say, you're being mean
- You're mean! And wrong! I can be anything that I want to be, I have as much of a right as you do
- It's not mean if it's right! You think that you can do anything, but news flash, you can't ! Your job is to be a housewife and stay home with your kids
- As Michelle ran away, she thought about if what Joe said was true. Could she really not be successful? Would she never be able to get a job? Looking back at it years later she just wished she could tell her younger self that it is not true and that she could do anything she wanted to
- She is so stupid! Being successful? Good luck, you're going to need it!
- As she grew older, she became more and more discouraged because of the people around her. She got into fights with Joes about the same topic all the time over the years, even through college
- Alright class, today we will be talking about what we plan to do after college with your degrees
- Well I want to start my own company when I graduate! I know it will take a long time but I know I can do it!
- How many times do we have to talk about this Michelle, you can't have a successful job. You should know this by now
