- I was born in Afghanistan. Me and my mum used to live in a very small village. Every day, my mum would ask me if I would like to help her sew clothes. It was my favorite thing to do so I would always say yes.
- Would you like some cookies?
- *CHATTER*
- This war the afghan war. This war happened very close to my village. It was the Afghan war. International conflict in Afghanistan beginning in 2001 that was triggered by the September 11 attacks and consisted 3 phases.
- There was so much war going around our village too. In the war, there were so many people that got shot, and me and my mum ran and flee to Indonesia so that we could be safe.
- What about this dress?
- That's beautiful! Let me try it on!
- The flight was okay, but we didn't know anything about Indonesia. We thought it might be a bit hard as we didn't know anybody apart from each other. But we can't judge before we get there.
- When I came to Indonesia, I was very safe. There was no war. I was happy. I had a big passion for fashion. So after settling, I started my own fashion business. I used my mums best techniques to help me.
- Now I am a very good fashion designer and I am happy where I am. I am very successful and lots of people come to my shop to buy the clothes I make with my own hands.
