Numbers of cases have rapidly increased particularly in the elderly and those with pre-existing conditions.CDC/WHO/NICD confirms that the illness is CORIE, caused by a contagious respiratory virus.The Mayor has alerted relevant health authorities and called for a group of researches to assist with vaccine investigations and rollout.
