- My dear victor, i have been too sad to write before. i have the worst possible news. your brother William is dead. He has been murdered.
- This is what my father told me about william's murder.
- I went inmediately to Geneva
- “IT IS MY BROTHERS MURDERER!”
- My happiness went to an end when i received that letter from my father, my name is victor and this is the story of the murder of my brother William.
- When I arrived home, Ernest told me that William's murderer had been found.
- It was Justine Moritz.
- I went for a walk with elizabeth and your two brothers, the boys walked on ahead. I was tired, so i sat on a seat with Elizabeth to wait for their return. before long Ernest came back and asked if we had seen william. The boys had been playing hide and seek. Ernest had not been able to find william. We searched until it was dark but we could not find him, about five in the morning we found him, he was dead, the marks of the murderer's fingers were on his neck.
- Victor’s creature informs Victor of his miseries and asks for a female compon.
- I had to cross a lake in a boat, during the short voyage there was a sudden storm with heavy rain , when i left the boat i had to walk through the forest, a flash of lightning suddenly lit up a figure running between the trees. I was sure it was the murderer of my brother. I began to run after him but he soon disappeared in the hills.
- Victor abandons Clerval to create a female creature, however, ends up destroying her.
- “I will never create a being like you! You will just create a race of devils with her!”
- I was sure that cannot be possible, Why would a young girl like Justine kill WilliamThis was a strange story that i knew could not be true.
- Victor and his family decide to head to their vacation house in Belrive. Here, Victor has an encounter with the monster when climbing to the peak of Montanvert in Chamonix. The monster begins informing Victor of how harshly he’s been treated, mentioning the De-Lacey family, the owners of the hut he hid in and the people he learned how to articulate from, rejecting him and him being shot by a man after saving a drowning woman. He finished his story by requesting Victor for a female companion to relieve his misery.
- Victor is given permission to journey with Clerval to England before marrying Elizabeth. Here, Victor plans on gathering research and supplies to create the female companion he promised his creature. Victor leaves Clerval to begin his laboratory work in one of the islands off Scotland, Orkney. Extremely close to finishing his work, Victor destroys the female creature in response to seeing his male creation glaring at him from the window. This causes his creature to growl and promise to “be there on his wedding night.”
- “AHHHHHH!!”
- “I will never create a being like you! You will just create a race of devils with her!”
