- Alright Robert, I watched/took care of your dog this entire week while you were gone, I believe that I receive two extra weeks now to return my rent pay
- Thanks Jake, but we never came to a formal agreement and I need your rent money now, I never accepted your offer in the first place.
- Oh cmon Robert, without me your dog could be as good as dead right now.
- Yes that's true, but I need your rent money now.
- Wait Robert, do you happen to be leaving again for a while? If so, I have an offer for you.
- Yeah I am going down to Florida in a couple days to spend a month there with my family, why?
- Perfect! Instead of paying my rent for last month, can I repay you by watching your dog for an entire month while you are gone?
- Hmm I don't know, are you going to be behind on this month's rent as well?
- By the time you return, I will have my rent in full for this month, and your dog will be well cared for and fed!
- Alright Jake it sounds like a deal to me. In return for January's missed rent, you will take care of my dog for a month, and take care of his food as well.
- Thanks Robert! Don't worry, your dog will be in great hands, and my rent will be payed when you return so don't worry.
