  • felix you must leave. urgently!!
  • RISING ACTION
  • Felix is a young boy who lives in a catholic church in the country of Poland during the time of world war 2 when the Nazi soldiers are starting to invade the country although the children of the orphanage are unaware of whats happening.
  • CLIMAX
  • one afternoon the nazi soldiers arrive at the orphanage and burn every jewish book and ensure that there are no jewish children being kept at the orphanage. luckily mother minka covers for felix but informs felix that he must leave and get away. so felix does that and escapes the orphanage.
  • FALLING ACTION
  • after walking for ages felix comes across a house which soldiers have lit fire too. when felix approaches he finds a girl,alive but unwell lying in the fire.felix risks his life and saves her and continues his journey with her because the girls parents are dead.
  • RESOLUTION
  • Zelix and Zelda are captured by the nazis and taken to the city. before the nazi's can load them in trucks to go to death camps a man by the name of barney negotiates with the soldiers and takes them into hiding in an old basement along with 5 other children.
  • they are discovered in their hiding spot by the nazi soldiers,they are cleared out and loaded into trucks before arriving at the train station.here they are loaded tightly into train cars and the doors are bolted shut making it impossible to escape.
  • once on the train they discover that there is plank missing from the side making it possible to jump from the train.few people decide to take this risk but zelda and felix do it along with another girl. they jump from the train and pray not to die, felix and zelda survive but the girl gets shot by soldiers on the roof and dies although they are now free.
