- In Act I: Scene II, at the Lupercal race a Soothsayer reaches out to Caesar. The Soothsayer tells him to "Beware the ides of March" (I:II: Ln 23). Caesar brushes him off by saying "He is a dreamer. Let us leave him. Pass." (I:II: Ln 24). Caesar walks away after dismissing him.
- Act IV: Scene II
- Let's March now instead of when we were going too!
- In Act II: Scene I, The conspirators show up at Brutus' home in the middle of the night. They did this so they could convince him to join them in killing Caesar. Brutus agrees and joins them in the scheme."And gentle friends, / Let's kill him boldly, but not wrathfully; / Let's carve him as a dish fit for the gods, / Not hew him as a carcass fit for hounds" (II:I: Ln 173-175)
- Act V : Scene V
- Victory!
- Brutus is dead! We win! Yay!
- In Act: III: Scene I, the conspirators all go with Caesar to the capital. Once at the capital they all stab Caesar. Caesar is hurt and betrayed the Brutus stabbed him. Since Brutus thought it was best Caesar die, Caesar died with acceptance "Et tu Brute? - Then fall, Caesar! [Caesar dies]" (III: I: Ln 78).

- Oh no! I've been stabbed in the back by my dearest friend!
- In Act IV: Scene II, Brutus and Cassius part ways for the night after agreeing to march to Phillipi in the morning. That night the ghost of Caesar awakens Brutus. Because of this Brutus gathers his troops and starts his march with Cassius. " Go and commend me to my brother Cassius. / Bid him set on his powers betime before, / And we will follow" (IV: II: Ln 256-358a)
- *Angry neigh*
- Oh my god, okay Brutus, anything for you, bro.
- In Act V: Scene V, Brutus kills himself on his own sword. Brutus' friend, Strato, held the sword while he fell upon it. Antony finds that Brutus is dead by his own hand and Declares victory. "Farewell, good Strato. — Caesar, now be still. / I killed not thee with half so good a will. / [Runs onto his sword and dies. Trumpets sound the call to stop pursuing the enemy. Enter Octavius, Antony, Messala, Lucilius, and the army.]" (V: V: Ln 51-52)
- Finally, maybe I can eat now.
- I believe the theme is "Watch your back". In The Tragedy of Julius Caesar Caesar trusted his friends. Most of all he trusted Brutus. In the third act Caesar's dearest friend, Brutus, betrays his trust and helps with his demise. If he were to properly watch his back none of that may not have happened.
