- Oh, gametogenesis, isn't that the production of gametes from haploid precursor cells?
- I'm doing a comic strip about gametogenesis
- I'm about to start when my workmate, Maui, walks in.

- It says here that during a process called gametogenesis, gametes, or sexual or reproductive cells, are created. The primary sex organ, known as the gonads, is where it occurs. Gametogenesis makes up the processes of Spermatogenesis and Oogenesis.
- As soon as she walked out, I immediately started.
- The process by which male gametes are created from testicular germ cells is known as spermatogenesis. In simple words, it’s how sperm is produced. The picture below provides a summary of the several cell division and differentiation processes that are involved in this process.
- The development of mature female gametes, or ova, from germ cells is a process known as oogenesis. The timeframe and how this happens are depicted in the graphic below.
