- peasants had harsh lives, working long hours with low wages, they weren't able to talk to each other, and they were born peasants and died the same
- the march revolution led a citywide strike. riots over shortages of bread and fuel. soldiers disobey their commanders and joined the protest. later on czar abdicated his throne.
- lenin and the bolsheviks promised 'peace, land, and bread'' to everyone which gained him support and power. he promised many things so the bolsheviks and other supporters attacked the provisional government and they took control and had power
- soon after the Bolshevik took power a civil war erupted. Which involved the white(pro-imperialist)and red army(communist). But the red army won because they were more organized and proficient.
- The Bolshevik failed with War Communism so he replaced it with NEP. This policy returned retail trade, some private ownership took heavy control over industry. They were able to recover from years of war and governmental mismanagement.
- Lenin died at the age of 53, most historians believe he died because of a stroke induced by a bullet still lodged in his neck. Stalin was a very powerful man who had all unlimited power and was able to do anything .
