- Exposition- Rikki-Tikki is a mongoose who got washed away from his home due to a summer flood and is brought to a bungalow home by a boy named Teddy and his mother.
- Rising Action- One morning Rikki-Tikki went out to the garden being curious. Then all of a sudden a snake named Nag appears out of nowhere then Rikki-Tikki finds himself in a fight between Nag and his wife Nagania until both of them dissappear into the grass.
- Rising Action- Shortly after his battle with Nag and Nagiana Teddy comes across a snake named Kairat in the sand, Rikki-Tikki and Kairat fight until Rikki-Tikki bites him in the snakes's back it paralyizies Kairat, then Teddy's father finish it by beating the snake with a stick.
- Climax- After hearing the news that Nag was dead Nagainia decides to slither into the Veranda and threaten Rikki-Tikki's family, but Rikki-Tikki also has the last of her eggs.
- Falling Action- After the news spread about Nagaina's death the animals now don't have to worry about being eaten.
- Resoultion- After the News of Nagaina and Nag's death all the animals can now live in peace utill new cobras show up Rikki-Tikki's family is now grateful more than ever to have him as their mongoose/protecter.
