- Hi Mr. McIntyre, in fact you are just in time but lets not waste more time they are waiting for us
- So...what is the plan Dr. Ramachandran
- We are going to show the kids, how important empathy is in school and society
- And how its important in school and in society
- Hello everyone! Today we will teach you a lot about empathy
- Yeah, could you give an example ?
- Okay, but what does that have to do with school ?
- Dr. Rama will help you with why its important in school and ill help you with the example
- Basically empathy is the ability to understand and share the feelings of another.
- Empathy is very important in school because if there wasn't any, bullying would be much worse with no one trying to stop or help people in need. for example would you feel okay if you saw someone that looks different being bullied ? My guess is you would feel at least uncomfortable and that is thanks to empathy.
- And If that example isn't enough, I have another great example. I managed to travel across all America with out a single penny and that is thanks to the empathy people felt towards me and their kindness, they open their homes to a total stranger just to help someone.
