- Hey man, let's stay away from that kid. He looks so gay.
- That's not right to say. We don't know what his sexuality is, and even if he is gay why would it matter?
- Oh c'mon, I'm joking. But seriously he looks like a girl
- Well it's not funny and you shouldn't joke about that. Also, saying he's gay and looks like a girl aren't even the same thing.
- What do you mean?
- Sex, gender, and sexuality are all different. Maybe if I teach you about it you'll be more open minded
- Yes. Sex is what a person is assigned at birth, either male or female, based on their genitalia. Gender is what a person identifies as and feels and thinks they are. Someone's gender does not necessarily have to "match" with their genitalia. And then a person's sexuality has to do with who they are sexually attracted to and what their preference is.
- Really?
