Battle with Grendel’s Mother

- Grendel's mother emerges from her lair, bent on revenge.
- Afraid of the weapons, Grendel's mother runs away with the King's beloved friend and Grendel's arm.
- I will avenge my son and kill all of those Humans!
- She reaches Herot to kill the humans who killed her son and finds all the Danes sleeping.
- The Danes start to attack with their swords and point their gleaming shields at Grendel's mother.
- ATTACK!
- HELP!
- Meanwhile, Beowulf and his men were given a different room where they were sleeping when all Herot burst into shouts.
- IT'S A MONSTER!
- KILL HER!
- SHE HAS TAKEN THE KING'S BELOVED FRIEND!
- ATTACK!!!
- King Hrothgar summons Beowulf and tells him what Grendel's mother has done. He sends Beowulf and his band to kill the monster.
- Yes my lord, we will head out right away!
- The she-wolf, Grendel's mother has attacked Herot and taken my most beloved friend. Beowulf, you must go and kill her!
