- Tita Loleng and Liza were talking about what happened in Lem's wake after picking some tomatoes, while Liza was preparing the tomato for the sinigang. Liza recalled and reminisced about the funeral while making sinigang.
- Why?

When the sinigang was finished, it would be served at dinner, and Liza imagined herself sitting beside his father, and his father would be pleased because she had prepared his favorite dish, sinigang.
