- Giftedness and talent abilities can take on many forms. It is important that we know the different areas a student might be gifted in and the different characteristics for each. Come along as we look at each type of gifted ability inside this school.
- Creative Thinking Giftedness
- This student has an ability to recall facts easily, has great memory, shows an understanding of complex topics, and is overall very well informed on many topics. Often, this student is seen acting out because they become bored with the content and gets sent to the office.
- Leadership Giftedness
- This student may have a high ability in a certain subject or content. This area might be of most interest to them and they may tend to guide their discussions toward their interest. They spend a lot of time putting effort into their projects.
- Visual/Performing Arts Giftedness
- This form of creative giftedness may not be based on being artistic. A students with this artistic ability has a great imagination and is flexible and fluent in thinking of solutions.
- These students possess great leadership skills meaning they can view various perspectives, organize activities, and motivate peers.
- These gifted students have an ability to create or perform. They can describe or understand music and art in a more advanced manner than others.
