- Im the one who figured out that the earth revolved around the Sun instead of vice versa.
- What book he published
- I published my book, De Revolutioibus, orOn the Revolutions of the Celestial Spheres,in 1543. During that time, they werewanting to reform the calendar, which waslead by Paul of Middelburg. I made sure tospecify that my book of mathematics wasfor mathematicians because people whoweren't good at math wouldn't understand.
- Nicolaus was an Astronomer and Mathematician his major discovery was that the earth revolved around the sun instead of the other way around.

- My work was used by laterscientists like Brahe, Kepler,Galileo, and later on Newton.don't want to filex on you,BUT…… I'm considered to bethe initiator of the scientificrevolution.
- He made the discovery that the distance of the planet from the sun determines the time it takes to revolve. He also found out discoveries of basic astronomy like that the stars are really far away.

- Also, my calculationswere used to create the Gregorian Calendar wich is introduced in 1582 and its widely usedtoday
- In 1514, Copernicus privately circulated an outline of his thesis on planetary motion, but actual publication of De revolutionibus (On the Revolutions of the Heavenly Spheres) containing his mathematical proofs did not occur until 1543, after a supporter named Rheticus had impatiently taken it upon himself to publish a brief description of the Copernican system (Narratio prima) in 1541.

- This changed the thought of everyday people because what they were taught could not be true. In this time the people did not trust others and launched the interest of other astronomers. Also played the basics in the time period and more discoveries were made because of that.
- If you are wondering if I still matter today the answer is yes I do. My contribution still matters today because the foundations were laid when they discovered this. Scientist today still work off of this discovery today.
- BTW I did change the world it will never be the same! But now I have to work on my model!
