- Someone telling their tutor about a project they need help on that's due this week:
- Hey, I have an English project that is due this Friday.
- The tutor pretending that she's listening while using her phone:
- *pretends to not listen* Yeah, ok, cool
- I want to finish the project but I need help with it. Can you please help me?
- Him asking if she is listening at all:
- Are you even listening to what I'm saying?
- Yeah I'm listening.
- The tutor lying and saying that she is while she's still on her phone:
- Him still trying to tell her about the project but she's still on her phone pretending that she's listening:
- *still pretending to listen*
- The project is due on Friday at 11:00 pm, and I was thinking that instead of leaving it for the last minute, we could try finishing it now.
- Him noticing that she's not listening and giving up and leaves to go ask for his parents help:
- You know what? I'm just going to leave since you are not paying attention to me. I'll go ask my parents for help.
