- Bobi, isn't this exciting? A SCHOOL SKI TRIP!
- I HATE THIS!
- Everyone watch your step!
- Get into this cart! It will take us up to the mountains.
- ...
- Bobi isn't this exciting? A school ski trip! Anna squeaked with delight. The bus was filled with chatters and ponders of the field trip. Yet, I stayed glued to my seat and gulped. The bus would soon approach the ski resort.
- Yeah, I'm ready!
- Bobi, are you ready?
- The bus shuddered to a stop and the engine died to a low rumble. As the staff escorted the students out I tried to make myself look similar. I tried to make myself look smaller. I hate this! I thought. I had dreaded this day ever since they gave us the permission slips. I stepped out and was greeted by the cold wind.
- WOO BOBI!
- I listen to the teachers give instructions. They led us to the carts that took us up the mountains. We're almost there! Anna exclaimed as we were heading up. I dreaded every moment.
- That felt amazing, Anna! I want to go again.
- As we reached the top I began feeling even more anxious. A few minutes later some students started heading down the mountain. I then heard Bobi, are you ready? it was Anna. Yeah, I'm ready I replied, even though I clearly wasn't.
- My grasp tightened upon the board. I believe my heart was about to erupt. I sat down and braced myself with a deep breath. I pushed myself forward and accelerated downards.
- As i started to slide down the smooth snow I felt an eerie calm to the ride. This is actually fun I thought and started whooping and laughing. Anna was waiting for me at the bottom. I was right beneath her and rolled over laughing. It felt amazing, Anna! I want to go again.
