- A man is buying the land from the French. To extend the U.S and Make it bigger.

- They were the first people to venture into the new land. They described it as very beautiful with lots of deer and berries.
- Jackson's Speech
- We don't want this land with Indians we have to get rid of them.
- Zebulon explored the land and said it was very dry and dessert like. He also said it was uninhabitable.

- He traveled the land by boat. Then soon labeled an area that is now known as The Great American Dessert
- His speech was about getting rid of the Indians, He then told everyone to drive out the Indians because they didn't want them on their land.
- The people forced the Indians to leave and they relocated in Kansas. And that's how the Indians got to Kansas.
