- Lina tried to tell Officer Miller that she is innocent. She tells him her whereabouts and that someone is framing her, but he refused listen. As he handcuffed her, stated the Miranda rights, and drove her away in the back of the police car, Lina knew that her life was over - her good girl streak has reached its end.
- "You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law. You have the right to an attorney. If you cannot afford an attorney, one will be provided for you."

- Lina Katz you are under arrest for the murder of Professor Reid.
- What time did I come to the library? How did I even get there?
- After what felt like a lifetime, Lina finally arrived at the police station, and immediately was taken to the interrogation room. Officer Miller shot her question after question and every time, Lina always answered, except for one. When asked when she arrived at the library, Lina couldn't remember when or how she arrived.
