- Grendel was a monster who lived in a swamp near Heorot. He became angry when he heard noises from the feasts in Heorot.
- You and your son will die tonight!
- Grendel killed 30 of Hrothgar's men and the people were terrified of him so they lived past home quietly for the next 12 years.
- Thank you so muhc my good friend, I want to rward you
- When the news of Grendel's attack on the Danes reached Geatland, Beowulf went to Denmark to help.
- After the feast they had for Bowulf's help, he stayed there and waited and waited for Grendel to return to attack again. Beowulf defeated Grendel and the monster went back to his swamp and died.
- Grendels mom hears about her sons death and becomes angry and attacks Heorot while Hrothgar celebtrates Beowulfs winning.
- Beowulf then follows Grendels mother to her lair and attacks and kills her with her own sword.
- Hrothgar gave Beowulf the family heirloom sword and gold and treasure as thanks for killing Grendel and his mother. Also warned Beowulf of the dangers of pride and fame. Beowulf then returned home to Geatland.
- Yayyyy!!!
- After his return, Beowulf was crowned king of the Geats. He became king and was respected and a kind king for many years.
- Fifty years after Beowulf kills grendel and grendels mother, a servant of his still´s a golden cup from a dragon. The dragon was angry and burned everything around him. Beowulf thinking he would kill the dragon alone but because he was older, the dragon defeated him.
- Beowulf is burned on a funeral pyre and the Geats built a barrow in his honor overlooking the sea.
