- The karankawa tribe lived in hide covered huts, easy to pick up and move and small enough to be transported by canoes!
- The karankawa used the low tides to gain advantage with fishing traps, and, by living by fields, they were also able to find food for other, harsher seasons.
- One of the most unique things about the Karankawa tribe is their breeding! They bred coyote and fox like dogs. Its theorized that their name translates to Dog-lovers! Now isnt that wholesome?
