- This story is set in a world where the atomic bombs actually went off during the cold war, and this is after that. It´s August 4th, 2026, and the main character (the smart house) is continuing to operate even though the people that live in the house are no longer living.
- Climax
- This takes place after the cold war, every human is dead and only rubble, some remaining buildings, and animals are left.
- Falling action
- The house begins its morning schedule telling people to wake up, make breakfast, etc. Later on after no one responds to the house the family dog comes to the house skinny and hungry. The dog is welcomed into the house and it smells pancakes being made and goes to the oven. Its tail catches on fire and it dies.
- Resolution
- Around noon some wind blows a tree branch onto the house and it starts a fire. The house catches on fire and it tries to put itself out. The robotic mice that work in the house try to use water to put it out, but it doesn't work. The fire spreads. Then from the attic robotic snakes spray green foam around the halls and it works, but the fire outsmart the house, and it goes up to the attic causing the attic to explode and the rest of the house to burn down
- It´s the next day: August 5, 2026. All of the house has burned down, except for one wall. The speaker system that wakes up the dead residents and tells them that day it is is now broke, Forever saying ¨Today is August 5, 2026. Today is August 5, 2026...¨
- The house burned down.
