- Sif, the beautiful wife of Thor, had long thick beautiful golden hair. One day Sif fell asleep under the warm sun.
- ZZZ....ZZZ
- Sif was sleeping heavily , she could not hear Loki approach. Loki, being the cunning trickster he is, cuts off Sif's golden locks.
- ZZZ....ZZZ

- Loki runs away from the scene, leaving Sif with no hair.

- Once Sif woke up, she was horrified at the state of her hair. Her long golden locks had been cut off!
- Thor was furious when he found out about Sif's hair. He threatened violence against Loki if he did not find a way to restore Sif's hair. Loki claims that he knows how to replace Sif's hair and is off to Niðavellir the home of dwarves.
