- Martin Luther ( was Born on the 10th November 1483 and grew up to be a very successful priest, theology professor and later initiated the protestant reformation
- in the 16th century the catholic church started selling indulgences and Martin Luther believed that it was the wrong thing to do.
- the Lord doesn't like what you have done
- this isn't fair!!

- on October 31st 1517 Martin Luther put a poster called the 95 theses to the door of the church. this got the word out about Martin Luthers thoughts on the rule of indulgences.
- the word was spread and Martin Luther had a lot of followers campaigning on the idea to get rid of the rule of indulgences in the catholic church.
- the catholic church did not like that Martin Luther was protesting about the rule of indulgences. Martin Luther continued to pursue his point and wanted justice.
- Lots of people had sided with Martin Luther and the Catholic church started to loose power. Peasants used the time of reformation to gain freedom but failed.Martin Luther became a reformer for the rest f his life. he died on the 18th of February 1546.
