- The establishing shot is present in order to introduce the characters and the setting (their house). It is also used to prep the characters for the first scene in which the father is going to ask the wife for a bag.
- Medium-Shot
- Exit 14
- The soft-focus is essential in this scene because the scene is only present to depict the father's actions (him setting up the room) for a couple of seconds to get the next scene going.
- Establishing shot plus zoom out
- The fade-in is important in this scene as it is a follow-up to the fade-out in the last scene and also set's up the scene for the mother to check up on the son and make sure he's in bed.
- A medium shot is used in this scene because we want the audience to see the road and car but also a bit of the mom talking to her son about his new school.
- The camera will start centered and then zoom out to establish the school. It is done this way to make the scene transition more appealing, especially with all the students getting to their classes.
