- Stand Tall with Priscilla
- There was once a young girl named Priscilla Esperanza. She had 2 brothers and a loving mother. Priscilla lived in an area where loud noises, such as helicopters and police sirens were always outside.
- Rose
- She didn’t care that the noises were loud because her mom was always there to hold her at night. She looked up to her mom. As she got older, Priscilla reflected on her mom’s life lessons. One of them was to not be afraid to stand up for everything she believes in.
- When Priscilla got older, she created a video streaming service called “Rose” named after her beautiful mother.
- FLO
- Rose was different than other streaming services because it focused on movies and tv shows that had a female lead. That means that these movies and tv shows had women that told the story of the movie or tv show.
- Rose was out on everyone’s tv and phones now, but something began to happen. People who were close to Priscilla would tell her that they could not watch the things on Rose because it would take too long to load.
- ISP
- They would tell her they were sorry but would have to give up on Rose and go to other video apps like Flo. Flo was a famous video service that had a lot of movies and would never take long to load.
- Priscilla was very sad.
- She went to someone she thought could help and his name was Mikey. Mikey worked for a big place in the city called ISP. ISP handled all of the internet. The internet is what lets everyone get to watch the movies on Rose and Flo.

- EQUAL ACCESS FOR ALL
- Priscilla told Mikey her problem and he said, "Flo pays us a lot of money so that means everyone can watch Flo without problems." Mikey also says, "Priscilla if you pay us too, Rose won’t have any more problems."
- ISP
- Priscilla did not know what to do because she had spent all her money on trying to make Rose. She told her friends everywhere what the problem was. Those friends ended up telling even more friends.
- Rose
- The next day Priscilla had an idea! She made a poster sign and it said "EQUAL ACCESS FOR ALL." She waited near the big building that Mikey worked at. Her friends made signs as well and stood strong with Priscilla .Strangers would pass by and would also make signs and stand with her.
- Eventually they saw Mikey and his big bosses at ISP. Priscilla told them that it wasn’t fair and they were being greedy with money. Everyone began to yell that they need to offer Equal Internet. Mikey and his bosses felt embarrassed and ashamed at what they had done. They said sorry and told everyone that the internet would be equal for everyone.
- So that meant that Priscilla and other companies like Rose wouldn’t have to pay more money like Flo had done before. People were finally able to enjoy Priscilla’s new streaming service Rose. They gave so many compliments and it made Priscilla feel so accomplished and happy.

- Priscillas mom was so happy to hear that she didn’t back down after she originally heard the bad news. Priscilla told one of her little brothers the story of what happened and taught them that the internet needs to maintain to be kept equal, free, and open.
