  • The Journey of Water
  • Hi! My name is H2O. Today I'm here with my friend Aqua.
  • Hello! By the way, today is a great day, H20. A perfect day to chill.
  • Evaporation
  • Whoo! I felt so relaxed but why is it so hot now?
  • Wait, it's really hot! Oh no, we are rising and turning into gas!
  • Condensation
  • Through this storyboard, we are going to talk about the 4 stages of the water cycle. First of all, let us tell you what a water cycle is and its purpose. A water cycle describes the continuous movement of water above and below the surface of the Earth.
  • Precipitation
  • This is the process when water turns into water vapor due to the heat of the sun. When a liquid like water is heated, it's particles gain more kinetic energy enough to overcome the strong forces that hold them in liquid state. Evaporation is the transformation of a liquid into a gas state. In this stage, energy is absorbed.
  • Runoff
  • This is the process when the water vapor rises high in the sky to form clouds. The air cools down and turns into tiny droplets to form clouds. When gas is cooled, the particles lose kinetic energy and when it loses enough energy, forces of attraction are strong enough to hold them in liquid state. Condensation is the transformation of a gas into a liquid state. In this stage, energy is released. But remember not all water condenses high enough to form clouds, some just form dew and fog.
  • Ending
  • Congratulations! You've finished the water cycle. I am Bianca Ferlyn A. Magsino.
  • And I am Martin Jethro P. Pesigan. We hope you learned something! Goodbye!
  • This is the process when gravity pulls the water droplets that have grown large enough from the clouds and falls as rain or snow when the temperature is cold enough.
  • Woah! We are falling back down!
  • Yes we are! It's pretty fun, don't you think?
  • The process wherein the water is pulled by gravity across the land's surface, replenishing ground water and surface water as it moves into a river, stream or watershed.
  • Yeah, we're now flowing across the surface. This was a fun adventure. We should do it again some time.
  • The soil can't hold us anymore.
  • After those stages, the cycle repeats. Anyway, that's all for today. We hope you all learned something today. Adios, amigo.
