- "Abraham, do not hurt your son. You have proved your faith in God by your willingness to sacrifice your son. You, your children and grandchildren will forever be blessed. "
- They saw a Ram tangled in a bush by the horns and placed him on the altar, sacrificing it for the Lord. Then they Came down from the mountain and returned to Beersheba with servants.
