Jesus Eats with the Sinners

- One cold day I saw Jesus walking down the dusty street with his disciples. I had always been jealous of Jesus because so many people like him more than me because I’m a tax collector and not many people like tax collectors.
- “It is not those who are well that need a doctor, but the sick do
- When Jesus saw me he smiled at me I was in shock. His disciples were all whispering to each other about me, than Jesus said “follow me”I thought this was strange for Jesus to say this to me so I got up from my tax office left all my money behind and followed him.
- In Jesus’ honour I held a reception in my big house. With me and Jesus at the table was a large gathering of tax collectors and others, that I had invited.
- I heard Pharisees and their scribes complaining to Jesus’ disciples they were saying “why do you eat and drink with tax collectors and sinners”? Jesus heard them and said “it is not those who are well that need a doctor but the sick do”. 
- “I have come to help the people who are sorry not the people who do not forgive others.
- So I went on to be a disciple of Jesus for the rest of my life.
