- At an early age, she already felt the need to be more because of her very poor life. She wanted to be able to afford delicious food and buy clothes for her family.
- One day, she had a pen pal named Wolfe. Their friendship eventually turned into something more and it was the reason she was able to get a fiance' visa and flew to America.
- Even though she was a graduate of Communication, she did not shy away from taking jobs that are far away from it, like being a waitress, dog watcher, babysitter, driver and even being a dumpster driver.
- In her dumpster diving, she realized a lot of things being thrown away by Americans are still useable. In fact, they even throw away fresh food, clothes with tags on them, shoes and many more.
- She started documenting her dumpster diving series on YouTube and Facebook and it became a sensation. A lot of people were enthralled to see what she finds and still living a humble life with her family.
- Now, Inday Roning continues to send the things she gets from dumpster diving like clothes and shoes as "Balikbayan Boxes" for Filipinos in need. She knows how much it means to receive things she wasn't able to get when she was younger.
