- Spartans were thought to kill. their training would get harsher and harsher the older you would get they were sometimes beat with whips and they would try to not scream in pain or show if it hurts. They would fight against each other to the death sometimes. The male child who was 7 years old would have to go train and wont be able to go to their family again at the age of 30. If they survived...
- If you were to be a Persian soldier in the battle of Thermopylae this would be what you would be seeing. Scary right? Spartan soldiers were well prepared for battle and were very skilled in fighting. In the battle of Thermopylae the Spartans gave Xerxes up to 20,000 casualties or more good soldiers (that is only counting dead people since many were injured but survived). While at first the Persians would have only killed 3-5 spartan soldiers. the spartan soldiers were very strong and the way they would fight in Thermopylae may have been why they survived as long as they did.
- In the battle of thermopolae the spartan king, Leonidas, was shot with an arrow and he soon died and his fellow Spartans then went to his body and shielded it. But soon they also died by arrows from the Persian army. The Persians won but later on in history the Spartans went to attack them and they soon got their revenge.
