- Our main character is Anna she always felt safe around dolls. Whenever she went to her grandma she was never allowed to bring or talk about dolls. One of her first memories is of one of their dolls putting their porcelain hands around her throat.
- CLIMAX
- When Anna's grandma died she was left heartbroken and in despair. Her family had to go clean up her house after the mess. "SHE MUST NEVER RETURN" wriiten all over the walls.
- FALLING ACTION
- Josie mumbled something not nice under her breath, just loud enough for me to hear but not loud enough to get Mom's attention. I glared at her, my anger rising.
- RESOLUTION

- I reached for the door and opened it slowly. Grandma Jeannie's perfume wafted out as if trying to convince me that was okay, that I was meant to be in here.
- The pressure in me flashed out as I opened my eyes, a scream bursting from my lips. Light flashed around me like cold lightning, striking Josie clear in her chest. Her eyes widened in shock. As the color leeched from her cheeks. As her ears and nose and fingers turned into porcelain.
- Beryl growled and tossed me to the side, and the kitchen exploded back into focus as pain shot up my hip. "Stop that!" she yelled. "What do you think you're doing?" I looked at my hands. Sparks danced over them, comforting and warm. I knew that then I had seen a vision of the past—a vision of how Beryl's evil had begun.
