The digestive system takes in the food and liquids and breaks them down into substances that the body can use for energy, growth and tissue repair.now that i finished telling you what the special systems do Dr. spencer is going to tell you how they work together.
so the nervous system controls much of what you think and fell and what your body does for example when you flinch or pull your hand away from something hot or cold that the reflex that the nervous system controls
These to systems work together by processing the building blocks for some neurotransmitter. The autonomic nervous system controls the tone of the digestive tract. The brain controls drinking and feeding behavior. The brain also controls muscles for eating and elimination.
Now Dr. williams will be telling you all how the flu attacks these two viruses!
so the flu can effect the nervous system by directly infecting and destroying the cells in the central nervous system and cause local swelling during the acute illness. certain viral infections elsewhere in the body can cause the immune system to attack and damage cells around the nerves.
The flu can effect the digestive system by causing watery diarrhea,pain or cramping in you abdomen ,nausea or vomiting ,and sometimes a fever
