- HI! I am Audrey Handlin and this is a tour of my home, the indus valley. The Indus valley was thought to be in the the2500–1700 bce, and has a good water supply since it's near the Indus valley river.
- A lot of people always think that us kids have nothing to do for fun, which is NOT true. We have clay toys of animals and toy monkeys that could slide down ropes!
- HOME!
- This is our home. Wedon't spend a ton of time in here as it is always hot outside, so we are mostly outside. We also sometimes use our house as a workshop.
- Hi! This is the Indus Valley River, and i am trading gems, for seashells.
- The reason why i am trading these wonderful seashells for those gems is to use them for jewelry, therefore i can make jewelry and trade that, she is trading her gems for seashells to use them as utensils.
- This is our shower, which connects to our sewer systems. We take this jug and fill it up with water then pour it over ourselves while standing over this.
- This is the Great Bath, it started in the 3rd millennium. It is believed to have been used for ritual bathing.
- This is called a seal, it was used to close documents and mark packages of goods. It had a drawing and words on the front. They were thought to be made out of steatite, which is a soft stone,
