- (4) Yes, I actually do live quite close to here, I just did not want to walk here! I have a car, so why not drive.
- (2) Oh, hi Maddie! It's good to see you and i'm great, thanks! And yes, it is my new car!
- Well Amelia, you know it would be better for you to walk or even bike like me, especially with all the pollution cars create these days!
- Why does it even matter Maddie? It's not like me, one individual person can change the world?
- (1) Amelia, even if it might not be a big difference, it will help, and God always knows too!
- (3) God created this world in six days and the seventh was the day he rested. We know that he made land, sea, light, plants, us, and all the resources on Earth. You know this right?
- (4) Yes, of course I know this? What is your point?
- (2) I'm confused! Why are you bringing God into this and I still don't get why any of this will ever matter.
- (1) We have to respect all the creations God made and take responsibility for the care of our planet! You using your car when you can walk, creates a lot of pollution in the air, which is what God wanted us not to do, but to care for the Earth!
- (4) In (1) Genesis 2:15, it says The Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it.
- (3) Yes, exactly! This is called environmental stewardship which God tells us about in the creation stories as God has given humans the position of responsibility over his creations.
- (2) So what you are saying is that God wanted us to take care of the environment and Earth he created for us, and me biking instead of driving would help?
